Cleaning a Fleshlight is not finished when the visible lubricant is gone. The sleeve has folds, channels, and two surfaces that need to dry before they return to a closed case.
Wash it soon. Rinse it completely. Give the water somewhere to leave.
Separate the parts
Remove the sleeve from the hard case. Take off both end caps. Set electronic, vibrating, or warming components aside and follow their own instructions.
Never submerge a powered part unless the manufacturer explicitly says it is waterproof.
Rinse the channel from both ends
Use warm water, not boiling water. Run it through the sleeve from the entrance, then from the opposite end. Gently turn the sleeve so water reaches texture pockets.
Avoid turning a delicate sleeve completely inside out unless the maker says that model can handle it. Excess stretching can damage the material or tear fine texture.
Use only approved cleaner
Follow the care instructions for your specific sleeve. Some soft materials are damaged by ordinary soap, alcohol, bleach, oils, or harsh antibacterial products.
If the brand specifies water only or a dedicated toy cleaner, use that. More aggressive cleaning is not automatically better when it changes the material.
Clean the case separately
Rinse or wipe the hard case as directed. Pay attention to threads, caps, and airflow openings. These collect lubricant even when the outside looks clean.
Shake out water and wipe accessible surfaces with a lint-free cloth.
Dry the sleeve completely
Stand the sleeve on a clean drying rack or lay it where air can reach both ends. Rotate it during drying. Pat the exterior, but do not push a towel deep into textured channels where lint can remain.
Do not put a damp sleeve back in the case. Do not close both caps “just for now.” Trapped moisture creates odor and material problems.
Restore the surface only as directed
Some sleeves become tacky after washing and may have a maker-approved renewal powder. Use only the recommended product and amount. Do not improvise with oils, scented powders, or household products.
Store it open and cool
Once every surface is dry, return the sleeve to the clean case. Leave airflow as recommended. Store it away from direct heat, sunlight, sharp objects, and incompatible toy materials.
If the sleeve develops a persistent odor, discoloration, tears, surface breakdown, or a texture change that cleaning does not resolve, replace it.

Rinsing removes the mess. Air removes the moisture. You need both.
