An ejaculating dildo moves liquid through an internal channel and releases it from an opening near the tip.
The effect can serve cum fetish, breeding roleplay, gender affirmation, performance, or the simple pleasure of controlling the moment yourself.
It also adds plumbing to a toy. Plumbing means a reservoir, pressure, a channel, residue, and drying. If the product page cannot explain those parts, the feature is not ready for your body.
The three common mechanisms
External syringe or squeeze bulb
A tube exits the base and connects to a syringe, bulb, or plunger. Pressing it forces liquid through the channel.
Advantages: visible fill level, direct pressure control, parts may detach for cleaning. Trade-offs: visible tubing, more pieces, connection can pull or leak.

Internal squeeze reservoir
The reservoir sits inside the shaft or molded balls. Squeezing the designated area releases liquid.
Advantages: concealed mechanism, no loose syringe during the scene. Trade-offs: less visible fill state, harder-to-inspect interior, pressure may vary with grip.
Automatic or remote system
A motorized pump releases liquid by button or remote.
Advantages: timed release without an obvious squeeze. Trade-offs: more components, charging/electronics, more complex cleaning and failure points.
Check whether the liquid path detaches from electronics and whether the toy can be submerged. Never assume.
Buying questions before the fantasy
- What is the exact toy material?
- What is the insertable length and widest diameter? The pump feature does not change basic fit.
- Where is the reservoir, and how much does it hold?
- Can the tube, syringe, bulb, or valve be removed?
- Can you flush the entire channel from both directions?
- How does every internal part dry?
- What liquid does the manufacturer approve?
- Is the base suction, harness-compatible, or securely flared for the intended use?
If the maker says “easy clean” but never shows the path, ask for instructions before buying.
What goes in the reservoir?
Use a manufacturer-approved, body-compatible fluid with the thickness the mechanism is designed to move. Many systems specify a water-based, semen-simulation lubricant.
Do not improvise with homemade mixtures containing sugar, food, oil, dairy, egg, or other kitchen ingredients for internal use. They may be incompatible with the body, material, valve, or cleaning system.
Thicker is not automatically more realistic. It is usually harder to push through narrow tubing and harder to rinse out.
Dry-run the system
Before involving a body:
- Wash the toy and all removable parts as directed.
- Fill with the approved liquid or the maker's test medium.
- Prime the channel over a sink so you know when liquid reaches the tip.
- Test gentle and firmer pressure. Learn the delay and range.
- Check every connection for leaks.
- Confirm the tube will not snag in the harness or under a body.
Pressure controls the stream in syringe systems. More force is not inherently better, especially for internal release.
Scene setup
Negotiate the fluid fantasy explicitly. Where may the fluid go? Internal, external, mouth, or not near the face? Is the roleplay about breeding, ejaculation, humiliation, gender, or surprise? A surprise effect is still negotiated before the scene.
Apply separate compatible lubricant to the toy and body. The reservoir fill is not necessarily enough surface lubrication.
Keep the tube or activation area under the controlling partner's hand. Do not pull the external line to reposition the toy.
Clean the channel immediately
Lovehoney's current guide recommends repeating the fill-and-expel process with cleaning solution, then flushing with plain water and fully drying the components. Follow your maker's exact chemistry and waterproof instructions.
A general sequence is:
- Empty remaining fill.
- Detach removable syringe, tube, bulb, or valve.
- Wash the exterior according to the material instructions.
- Draw approved cleaning solution through the full channel and expel it.
- Repeat until no residue appears.
- Flush with clean water as directed.
- Inspect the tip, connectors, and reservoir.
- Dry every component completely before reassembly and storage.
Thick residue and blind corners require repetition. If you cannot tell whether the channel is clean or dry, do not store it sealed and hope.
Failure modes worth paying for someone else to solve
- channel too narrow for the recommended fill
- non-removable tube with no drying path
- valve that traps residue
- syringe connection that pops off under pressure
- suction base distorted by the exit tube
- electronics integrated with a channel the instructions say not to rinse
- no replacement parts
